Originally hailing from Michigan, Don grew up listening to some of the greatest music from the 60’s and 70’s. Don was influenced by all the talent from the Detroit area. Don finally got his first guitar at the age of 15. By then Don was in to bands such as Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Rush, Led Zeppelin, and Ted Nugent. At the age of 16, Don took guitar lessons from Mike Lutz, best known for his work with Brownsville Station at Al Nalli’s Music Store/Studio. Don continued playing guitar in various bands until the age of 23. Then he hung up his axe for almost 10 years to work on his career and family. Don moved to Kansas at the end of 1991. Don still had one left over guitar. He went to a pawn shop, bought an a amp and started all over again! Don has performed with or opened for Bands or Artists such as Michael Lee Firkins, The Turtles, .38 Special, Molly Hatchet, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and side stage acts such as Steppenwolf, Ted Nugent, and Boston. In 2011 Don and the band F5 opened up for Eddie Money. From 1996 to 1999 Don played lead guitar for Gee Wally. From 2001 to 2009 He played guitar for Klatch, a well known rock band from the Wichita area. From 2009 to 2011 Don played with the awesome progressive rock band F5 and the alt rock band Lobster Adoption. In early 2014 Don decided to resurrect Klatch wihich "morphed" into the Llew Brown Band.
Val Gault is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Kansas. She has been performing on stage since she was old enough to hold a microphone. As a child Val fell in love with music and started singing as soon as she could speak. At the age of 10 Val was singing in school and church as her interest in instrumental music began to grow. As a teen she was playing trumpet and started teaching herself to play piano and write music. Val is influenced by a wide range of music styles from Johnny Cash to Norah Jones. After attending Friends University with classical and jazz training, she then picked up the guitar and continued to write. For the past few years Val has been playing shows all over the Wichita and surrounding areas, as a solo artist and in the Duo Cosette.

When i was a youngling, i traveled with a group of gypsies. They made their money by playing music and stealing wallets. When i reached the age where i can slap bass, i decided it was time to go. I left the gypsies in the cover of night and decided to study bass with the most famous of all base players, Victor "10 thumbs" Rios. The man was legendary. I finally met up with Vic and he asked me one question, "Dan, if you are to study under me, you have to play Freebird on bass". My heart fell to the ground. I knew my chances of learning from the master were over... Nobody... i mean NOBODY will ever make me play Freebird. I slapped Vic in the face and waddled out the door. For weeks i hung out in front of a bar, playing my bass for donations. Trying to earn enough money to pay rent. Then one day, i see a guy and a bass guitar get thrown out the door of the bar. The barkeep walked out the door with a baseball bat in hand and said... (im out of characters to type, thanks twitter)

I am a professional percussionist who is a part of the Wichita community. I perform with the well established group the Llew Brown Band and make people dance the night away almost every weekend of the year. I am also anestablished music teacher at School of Rock, Wichita location. In the past I was part of band Annie Up and still perfom with original acts such as The Calm.

Rachel Cutler - Drums, Vocals
Llew grew up in Oklahoma with a lot of country music influences. At the age of 11, Llew started playing drums in his fathers band and his country music theatre, Bill Brown's Oklahoma Jubilee in Shidler Oklahoma. There, he played with classic country greats like Kitty Wells, Barbara Fairchild, Johnny Lee, David Frizzell, Tommy Cash, HankThompson, Buck Trent to name a few. From 1990 to 1998, Llew played all over Oklahoma until he joined the United States Army in 1998 which included 2 tours in Iraq from late 2002 through 2005 with the 45th Infantry Division during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Llew served until 2007, then picked up the guitar and played acoustic gigs around Kansas until June 2014 when he joined the Rock Band Klatch from Wichita, Kansas. Llew opened for Styx, Foreigner, and Don Felder at the Intrust Bank Arena in May of 2014 for their Soundtrack of Summer Tour. On May 15th 2015 Klatch, transformed into the Band that you hear today, Llew Brown Band!
